MacArthur New Testament Commentary Series

(He has also published a Bible Study series, but I haven’t personally done any of them.)

Jerry Bridges studies are now being published as a combination of book/study for six of his books: Respectable Sins, The Pursuit of Holiness, Transforming Grace, The Pursuit of Godliness, The Discipline of Grace, and Trusting God. I have read the books for all but Transforming Grace and The Pursuit of Godliness. Each of Mr. Bridges’ books have been such a blessing to me. He articulates very difficult theological concepts in practical and understanding ways without watering them down.
